The primary goal of Los Angeles House of Ruth (LAHR) is to empower women to move from abuse and dependency to independence and success. For more than 40 years, we have provided wrap around services and shelter to over 5,000 women and children, with a remarkable 90% success rate at placing them into permanent housing!
